Note: If you are a new employee, you have 60 days to enroll in benefits. Please be aware that Humana’s 2023 Medical plan offering will terminate on either Dec. 31, 2023, or by the first day of your first full pay period beginning on or after Jan. 1, 2024.

Starting January 2024, Humana will no longer offer employee medical plans.

FEHB enrollees who are currently seeing a specialist for a chronic or disabling condition (such as cancer, diabetes or kidney disease) or who are in the second or third trimester of a pregnancy have a right to continued treatment as specified in the plan’s brochure (or treatment through the end of post-partum care).

If you enroll in a new FEHB health plan for 2024 during the Federal Benefits Open Season beginning November 13, 2023 and ending December 11, 2023, you should contact your new FEHB health plan’s insurance carrier regarding transitional care.
